Product description - S9 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones
The S9 Wireless Noise-Canceling Over-Ear Headphones from Pioneer have been engineered to give you the freedom of listening cable-free, while still enjoying high quality audio reproduction. They pack large 40mm drivers and CCAW voice coils, while supporting Qualcomm's aptX HD technology. Together, they combine into a pair of headphones that can transmit 48 kHz/24-bit (LPCM) audio wirelessly, while reproducing deep, rich bass, and clarity across the low, mid, and high frequencies.
The S9 also sports comforts like thick, padded earcups and active noise-cancellation, which are designed to negate ambient sound and provide an isolated listening experience that's free of distraction. The built-in rechargeable battery lets you enjoy all this for up to 24 hours on a single charge. During that time, you can use the S9 headphones for more than music: the built-in mic lets you make hands-free calls and interact with Google Assistant. - Pairing Possibilities
- The S9 headphones features support for both NFC and multipoint technologies. NFC helps to greatly simplify the pairing process between the S9 and your mobile device. Just tap them together and NFC takes over to quickly set up a Bluetooth connection.
With multipoint, you can pair the S9 headphones with up to eight devices, and two of them simultaneously. That means it has a memory of eight devices and will automatically pair when starting the pairing process. If two are active simultaneously, the headphones can switch automatically between them. For example, you can be listening to a video on your TV, then quickly switch to your smartphone to take a call. - Crisp & Clear Calls
- To help ensure that you have a clear conversation when making hands-free calls, even in noisy locations, Pioneer has given the S9 over-ear headphones both echo cancellation and noise suppression technologies. They work together to make sure the person you're talking to hears you, and only you.
- Stay Safe with Ambient Aware
- Noise-canceling technology and sound isolation are great for enjoying audio content, but not so much when you need to hear cars and other hazards while walking around. This is why Pioneer gives you Ambient Awareness Mode. When activated, this mode lets sounds in so you can be fully aware of your surroundings.
- Wireless or Wired - Your Choice
- It's hard to beat the freedom of wireless technology, but what happens when you're low on power and still want to listen to music? Thankfully, the S9 headphones allows you to plug in an included audio cable to use them as a wired set of cans when you need them. It's also an ideal solution for listening to devices that are not Bluetooth compatible. When wired, you get the added benefit of Hi-Res Audio playback support.
