Product description Achieve 4K Ultra HD pass-through with 3D support via HDMI with the Pioneer VSX-S520 5.1-Channel Network A/V Receiver. It produces up to 50W of power per channel at 4 Ohms for room-filling sound. MCACC sound optimization will allow you to tailor the sound to your room's specific acoustics. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows you to listen to music wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth-capable device and AirPlay will allow you to connect to your compatible iOS devices. You can also attach a USB drive to the USB port on the front panel to play your MP3, WMA, AAC files, and more.
The VSX-S520 is equipped with four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. The HDMI output supports ARC for the reproduction of TV-based audio, such as your TV's built-in Netflix or Hulu apps. It also features an on-screen GUI for simplified setup and control. You can also control it with the iOS- and Android-compatible Pioneer Remote app. - Audio Features

| Subject: Arc Function not producing sound | | Date: 18.07.2022 19:02:30 | Name: Efrain Fernandez | | Good Afternoon, I connected my Sony tv to my pioneer Av receiver model# VSX-S520 with an hdmi cable using the arc function. I’m not getting any sound. My tv is brand new and also has an arc hdmi port. So it is compatible. The only way I get sound is using a optical cable. Although it works fine with the opt cable, I would like to control my system with one remote. I tried everything and could really use some help in this matter. Thank you. | | Post reply |
