Product description Styled in a silver and white finish, the XDP-30R by Pioneer is a portable digital audio player that puts high-resolution audio—streaming or otherwise—right in your pocket. The player supports formats up to DSD 5.6 MHz, 192 kHz/32-bit FLAC/WAV/ALAC/AIFF files, and, with a future-scheduled firmware update, the high-res lossless MQA codec for streaming. In addition to two on-board SABRE ES9018C2M DACs & two SABRE ES9601K headphone amps, this device offers symmetrical channel layout for equal signal paths inside its solid brushed aluminum chassis. 16GB of internal storage is provided, though disk space can expand with the insertion of one or two microSD cards (available separately). The unit also features Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi. The XDP-30R's wired connectivity options include two headphone jacks. One is a standard three-pole 3.5mm jack while the other is a balanced four-pole 2.5mm jack. There are two balanced headphone modes, one for improved stereo separation and power for driving demanding headphones and the other for enhanced channel separation and a cleaner, less noisy experience. Automatic signal detection activates one of two internal clocks, either the 44.1/88.2/176.4 kHz or 48/192 kHz, reducing jitter. - Audio Optimization
