This case encloses your smartphone on all sides while giving kids the chance to snap away without fear of breakage. Shaped like a traditional camera with clicking focus ring and film advance knob, the Pixlplay accepts most standard-sized smartphones, closing with child-safe locks. The back of the case has a touch-through membrane so children can interact with the free Pixlplay iOS app or other camera apps.
The Pixlplay has large rubberized surfaces for easy grip and a physical shutter button, which connects to your device through the 3.5mm headphone jack, so there's no Bluetooth connection or batteries to worry about. There are attachment points for mounting a neck strap, and a wrist strap is included. It also comes with a sticker sheets for customizing your Pixlplay and two activity sheets. - Shutter Button Operation
- Devices without 3.5mm headphone jacks require the adapter included with your device to work the shutter button, however the camera can be operated without the shutter button by using your smartphone's touchscreen. Some Android phones require setting up the camera shutter to be controlled by the volume button.
