Product description The NS Micro Violin Tuner from Planet Waves offers a fast, accurate tuning experience with an expanded calibration range, visual metronome mode, and a lever-lock clamp that is well suited for both violin and viola. The unit utilizes a highly sensitive piezo transducer and easy-to-read, tri-color, backlit display to provide smooth and accurate tuning in noisy, dim, or well-lit environments. The micro design and non-marring, lever-lock clamp holds the tuner securely to the instrument while allowing easy application and removal. The fast-acting pitch response also enables the unit to be an effective practice tool for referencing and improving intonation while playing.
The Micro Violin Tuner is powered by an included CR2032 lithium coin-cell battery and includes an auto-off function, which helps prolong battery life. The tuner offers a wide calibration range of 410 to 480 Hz, while the visual metronome helps the player keep accurate time. All NS Series tuners were created by famed product designer Ned Steinberger in collaboration with Jim D'Addario and Planet Waves. -
