Product description The Platinum Tools 90201 Premier CATV Connectivity Kit for RG-6 Cables delivers a practical solution and offers the installer a balanced mix of popular products that are known to withstand tough jobs. The kit also provides essential tools such as a cable cutter and coax stripper as well as connectors required for CATV F cable runs.
The 10500C Coax & Round Wire Cable Cutter is durable and economically designed to cut solid and stranded wire to 8 AWG, multi-conductor, and coaxial cables to 1.5" (38.1mm) diameter. It features a curved and precision-ground blade that will not deform the conductors or dielectric and is stamped from high carbon tool steel and heat, which is treated for long life.
The 15020C Double-Ended Coax Stripper quickly and easily strips a broad range of coax cables in a single step without any adjustments. Its blades are designed to produce a 1.25" (31.75mm) braid, 2-level strip, and the standard for compression connectors.
The 16220C SealSmart II Compression Crimp Tool easily terminates F, RCA and BNC compression style connectors without changing adapters. The universal head easily adjusts to the proper crimp stroke, making it compatible with standard compression connectors.
The 11021 8" F Connector Assembly and Removal Tool is a dual function tools that features a 7.437” (188.89mm) hex socket at one end and 3.37 to 32” (85.59 to 812.8mm) thread at the other end. The hex socket slides over the cable and rear of the connector for easy mating and un-mating of hard to grasp F connectors. The threaded end provides a stable surface for cable insertion when prepping connectors for termination and can also be used as a thread chaser.
Each of the 10 SealSmart F Connectors for RG 6 Cables provides simple, fast, and reliable terminations, which is an excellent solution for CATV, DSS, security, home theater, and residential structured wiring installation.
