Designed for use with shielded RJ45 connectors on Cat5e/6/6e/6A/7 cable types, it is suitable for use by professionals and home installers alike. This tool lets you perform a concentric termination with full control, preventing over and under-crimping of the external ground tab. Spring-loaded for quick deployment, dual cavities work with a wide range of cable outer diameters. The all-steel frame and black oxide finish will stand up to hard use for years to come. The External Ground Crimp Tool is shipped in a clamshell packaging. - For crimping the external ground tab on shielded RJ45 connectors for Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6e, Cat6A, and Cat7 cable types
