Product description Troubleshoot various aspects of your network with the Net Prowler Cabling and Network Tester from Platinum Tools. This cable tester features networking mapping capabilities, link test functionality, IPv4 and IPv6 ping testing, DHCP testing, DNS discovery, and URL ping tests. Additional features include LLDP support and IP Mapping to identify various switch information, and the ability to track cable integrity. All the information gathered using the Net Prowler can then be transferred to your computer via the built-in USB interface as a CSV or PDF file. - Network Testing Features

- Verifies DHCP connectivity and DNS
- Pings IPV4, IPV6, and URL addresses
- CDP, LLDP, and VLAN detection
- Network Mapping identifies device name and both IP and MAC addresses on the network

- Detects and reports current link speed and link capabilities for active Ethernet drops
- Link light to identify location on a hub/switch/router port
- Detects PoE per IEEE 802.3af/at with load test for voltage drop and which pairs of cabling are carrying the PoE power (class)

- Supports up to 20 network and coax ID-only mapping remotes
- Generates selectable tones on selected pins for use with tone tracers
