Product description The Tone and Probe Set from Platinum Tools enables you to trace cables and identify cable locations on jacks or through walls. The tone generator comes equipped with a slide switch to move between three different modes, including a continuity mode to verify if a wire is broken. The probe features a recessed push-button to activate tone scanning, a tapered tip to easily penetrate wire bundles, and a thumbwheel to adjust the volume or turn off the probe to reserve battery power. The Tone and Probe Set uses common send and receive frequencies, allowing it to be used with other tone generators or probes. Tone Generator - Tone/Off/Continuity slide switch
