Product description The Ultra Plate Camera Support from Platypod is a 6061-T6 aluminum tripod platform that has a weight capacity of 100 lb and designed for mirrorless or mid-sized cameras. The compact and portable Ultra has a 3/8"-16 male stud for any type of tripod head. Five 3/8"-16 threaded holes can have four stainless-steel spiked feet screwed through the top in any combination to accommodate uneven terrain. Threading through the bottom of the platform utilizes the rubber feet on the opposite side of the spiked feet. Therefore, you're able to place the tripod platform on smooth surfaces and not have the platform slide off or scratch the surface. The Ultra Plate Camera Support also has three countersunk holes to drive nails into a wooden surface and permanently attach the platform for special applications. Additionally, there are three open spaces that the included carabiner can clip into for attaching to a belt or bag. Another means of carrying the Ultra is by running an accessory belt or backpack strap through the slotted belt loops. Meanwhile, the slotted belt loops can also accommodate the 20" cinch strap, so it can attach onto a tree or pole and shoot from an elevated height.
