Product description Place your 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD into the USB 3.1 Gen 2 SATA Vertical Hard Drive Dock from Plugable and you can begin transferring data with the enhanced data transfer rates made available via the USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection. This drive dock features an upright design along with a blue LED indicator depicting the power state of the enclosure and drive activity. Setup is simple as this drive enclosure comes compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems and comes with both USB Type-C and USB Type-A cables. -
- The USBC-SATA-V from Plugable offers USB Type-C connectivity and SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 Gen 2 performance up to 10 Gb/s (1,250 MB/s)
- Thanks to USB 3.1 Gen 2 performance, it is possible to break USB 3.0 5 Gb/s (625 MB/s) speed limitations and fully utilize SATA III 6 Gb/s (750 MB/s) of available bandwidth
- The USBC-SATA-V also provides universal USB compatibility thanks to two included USB cables: a legacy USB Type-A cable for the most common USB ports in use today (USB 3.0/USB 2.0/USB 1.0), as well as a USB Type-C cable for USB 3.1 and beyond
