Product description The Plustek SmartOffice SC8016U Scanner is a 600 dpi A3-size document scanner with a 100-sheet automatic document feeder. This scanner features a scan speed of 80 pages per minute, or 160 images per minute in duplex mode, when scanning A4-size documents in grayscale at 300 dpi. This allows for high quality scans at a quick rate, especially with a duty cycle of 8,000 scans per day for a rated lifetime of 300,000 scans.
The scanner can handle a variety of media types all the way up to 11.7 x 200", even including plastic and embossed cards. Additionally, all these items can be stacked in the feeder without any sorting or separation.
The SC8016U features an intelligent misfeed function that utilizes an ultrasonic sensor to detect double feeding. It also uses standard TWAIN and WIA drivers for compatibility with many scanning and imaging programs.
Also, the scanner includes a USB 2.0 cable, an AC adapter, a power cable, a setup/application CD-ROM, a calibration sheet, a memo label, a cleaning cloth, 2 pad modules, a feed roller, and a paper chute. Scanning Features - Auto Threshold
