Product description

Create a wireless flash system with both an on-camera speedlight and studio strobes with this Plus IV / Plus III Bonus Bundle 4 from PocketWizard. This kit packages together a Plus IV transceiver with two Plus III transceivers and a blue G-Wiz Squared bag to hold it all. The combination transmitters and receivers work on a frequency of 340-354 MHz and offer a long working range of up to 1640'. Also, the Plus IV features a hot shoe on the top for mounting a speedlight to your camera as well. Other features includes 32 channels, Quad-Zone triggering, auto-sensing and auto-relay, support for up to 14.5 fps shooting, and full compatibility with previous models.
  • Plus IV Transceiver (Black) PocketWizard introduces the Plus IV Tranceiver with the many professional features we've come to expect plus TTL on-camera flash combined with remote manual flash using most Canon, Nikon, Panasonic cameras and some Fuji and Olympus equipment. The Plus IV has 32 channels (16 standard and 16 Quad Zone). Besides eliminating interference this also allows you to trigger flashes in 4 separate (A,B,C,D) zones when doing multiple setups. Auto-Sensing automatically selects the transmitter or receiver mode appropriate to the setup. Auto-Sensing also works in tandem with Auto-Relay mode to allow to can also trigger a remote camera along with remote flashes. Two-Stage Triggering technology allows to wake and focus your camera by partially depressing the test button and fire it by fully depressing it. The Plus IV's long triggering range is consistent with other PocketWizards but setting it to Long Range mode nearly doubles the triggering distance for difficult situations. For the maximum in extended range shooting place a Plus IV in Repeater Mode (RP) between your transmitter and receiver to repeat the signal and complete the connection. The Plus IV is compatible with all Standard channel or simple triggering PocketWizard radios of the same frequency including PocketWizard-enabled photo gear from Profoto, Dynalite, Norman, Photogenic, and Sekonic light meters.
On-Camera TTL Flash / Remote Manual Flash
    • The Plus IV features a top shoe providing TTL compatibility with most Canon, Nikon, Panasonic cameras and flashes as well as some Fuji and Olympus gear. This allows photographers the versatility to shoot with an on-camera flash in TTL mode while triggering their remotes in manual mode. Easily slide a speedlight into the top shoe of your receiving radio and you are ready to start triggering your remote flash in minutes. A perfect setup for wedding photographers.
      Top Shoe
    • The top shoe on the Plus IV allows photographers to easily set-up their speedlights. No sync cord required.
      Simple User Interface
    • The Plus IV has an intuitive user interface where all channels, zones and modes can be easily engaged via a soft-touch keypad, and displayed on an easy-to-read backlit 1" LCD display. When you're working in dark environments, simply press any key other than TEST to illuminate the LCD.
      32 Channels
    • With 32 channels (16 standard plus 16 Quad-Zone Triggering channels), the PocketWizard Plus IV Transceiver enables you to trigger individual or groups of lights simultaneously or individually. This is critical for working in crowded venues or with multiple lighting set-ups.
      Quad-Zone Triggering
    • Selective Quad-Zone Triggering keeps you shooting photos, not running back and forth to your lighting or cameras. Without leaving the camera position, you can wirelessly activate or deactivate your remote flashes or cameras in 4 separately controllable zones: A, B, C, or D. This is ideal when using multiple lighting setups or turning remote cameras or flashes on and off as needed.
      Auto-Sensing Transceiver
    • With its patented Auto-Sensing Transceiver technology, the Plus IV Transceiver is one smart radio. When set to TxRx, it will instantly and intelligently switch between transmitter and receiver modes as needed for greater flexibility on the job. The Plus IV may be set to transmit (Tx) or receive (Rx) independently if needed.
      Two-Stage Remote Camera Triggering
    • The Plus IV Transceiver is the perfect solution for remote camera triggering. The unique two-stage TEST button on the Plus IV works just like the shutter release button on your camera. Press it halfway and your remote camera wakes up to meter and focus. Press TEST all the way to take your photo. When released, your remote camera will return to sleep mode normally: a real battery saver.
      Auto-Relay Mode
    • Our Auto-Sensing Transceiver technology lets you trigger a remote camera in sync with remote flashes using only 3 PocketWizard radios: the one in your hands, a Plus IV cabled to your remote camera, and the one connected to your remote flash set to one channel higher.
      Long-Range Capability
    • Range is comparable to other PocketWizard radios. Shooting environments are seldom ideal, so the Plus IV incorporates two range extending modes for the challenges of the real world. Use Long Range Mode (LR) to nearly double the effective triggering distance in almost any environment.
      Repeater Mode (RP)
    • In very challenging environments or extremely long working ranges, place a Plus IV in Repeater Mode (RP) between your transmitter and receiver to repeat the signal and complete the connection. These modes take a little extra time to do their jobs, so maximum X-sync may be reduced when firing remote flashes in LR or RP modes.
      High-Speed Receive
    • Normally, the Plus IV is capable of triggering lights or cameras at a sustained rate of up to 12 frames per second (fps) - a standard for PocketWizard radios. Set the Plus IV to High Speed Receive Mode (HSR) and trigger at rates up to 14.5 fps, beyond the capability of most of today's cameras. This mode can also help high fps triggering compatibility for any flash.
      External Power and Firmware Upgradeable
    • The Plus IV is normally powered by two AA (IEC:LR6) batteries. For long term remote placement, use an AC adapter, like the PW-AC-USB Adapter, that plugs into the standard Mini-B USB port of the Plus IV. The USB port also enables future upgrades of the Plus IV operating system.
      PocketWizard Compatible
    • The Plus IV is compatible with all Standard channel or simple triggering PocketWizard radios of the same frequency including PocketWizard-enabled photo gear from Profoto, Dynalite, Norman, Photogenic and Sekonic light meters. The PocketWizard wireless system allows for total flexibility with whatever lights or cameras you may be working with.
    UPC: 850386005249
  • Plus III Transceiver (Black) The black PocketWizard Plus III Transceiver is a highly versatile and robust radio trigger that is compatible with all prior FCC-version PocketWizards, as well as most flash and camera systems. Featuring 32 channels to choose from, this transceiver is simple to use in even the busiest of situations. Wireless remote control is possible through the use of Quad-Zone Triggering, which allows you to manage up to 4 zones of remote PocketWizard-enabled cameras or flashes from one position. Without having to leave camera position, you can activate and deactivate groups of flashes quickly and easily. This transceiver also employ's PocketWizard's Auto-Sensing technology, which instantly allows your device to fluctuate from transmitter to receiver. This technology works directly in line with the Auto-Relay function for a completely remote workflow.

The efficiency of this transceiver is further extended by allowing up to 1640' transmissions in normal mode, and nearly double with Long Range mode. High speed, continuous shooting is made possible with the High Speed Receive mode, permitting up to 14.5 fps firing at up to 1/250 sec. for focal plane shutter and 1/500 sec. for leaf shutters.

The design of the Plus III incorporates a side-view LCD screen and touch pad interface for switching between modes, zones, and settings. It connects to any camera featuring a hot shoe and is also compatible with a variety of cables for linking to lighting and other remote systems.
      32 Channels
    • Featuring 16 standard and 16 Quad-Zone Triggering channels, finding an open channel to use is simplified and efficient. Switching between channels is accomplished with one-touch operation.
      Quad-Zone Triggering
    • You can program up to 4 working zones for remote control of flashes. This allows you the ability to wirelessly activate and deactivate your flashes, enabling you to remain in camera position without having to manually adjust lighting setups. This is ideal for using multiple lighting setups and managing remote cameras as needed.
      Auto-Sensing Transceiver
    • When set in TxRx mode, the transceiver is able to instantly switch between transmitter and receiver modes for the greatest amount of flexibility. You can also manually override this and choose to have it act as a dedicated transmitter or receiver.
      Auto-Relay Mode
    • When using 3 PocketWizard radios; you can remotely trigger a camera to fire and trigger a flash simultaneously. Utilizing the Auto-Sensing technology, the transceiver mounted to the camera can instantly receive a signal from an auxiliary transceiver, and then instantly convey the transmission to a remote flash. This provides a simplistic and highly efficient remote workflow.
      Long Range Capability
    • When used in ideal conditions, this transceiver is capable of producing and receiving a signal up to 1640' / 500m away. When conditions are not ideal for a long range transmission, Long Range mode can be used to nearly double the effective range of the signal. There is also Repeater mode, which will repeat the signal several times, increasing the possibility of a successful transmission at long range.
      High Speed Capability
    • When in High Speed Receive mode, this transceiver is capable of triggering cameras or flashes up to 14.5 fps. Normal performance also permits triggering up to 12 fps. It is also capable of sync speeds up to 1/250 sec. for focal plane shutters and 1/500 sec. for leaf shutters.
      Simplified User Interface and Design
    • Clearly displayed on a 1" / 2.5cm backlit LCD, all of the channels, zones, and modes can be configured using a soft-touch keypad. The design of the transceiver also incorporates a side-view LCD for easier viewing and an internal antenna for a less obtrusive appearance.
      Wide Compatibility and Connectability
    • The transceiver is easily attached to most cameras through the hot shoe, with no extraneous cables required. For attaching to remotes and lights, there is an all-in-one sync port for wide compatibility. Cables are included for attaching from miniphone to miniphone, miniphone to phono, and miniphone to PC sync for cameras without a hot shoe. It is also compatible with all PocketWizard transmitters and receivers (of the same frequency) as well as PocketWizard-enabled lighting and metering equipment. The Plus III is powered by 2 x AA batteries and can be kept up to date with firmware updates utilizing the USB port.
