Product description - Polar OH1 | Using OH1 as an independent training device
With the OH1+ Optical Heart Rate Sensor with Swim Goggle Clip from Polar, you can keep tabs on your heart rate while you work out on land or in the water, with a watch or phone, or without. When on land, just clip the OH1 to the included armband and wear it around your upper or lower arm. The data collected can help you better maintain a steady, rhythmic pace while exercising. That data can be wirelessly transmitted to be displayed and stored in an app, such as Polar Beat, or on the display of a fitness device.
The inclusion of a swim goggle clip means that you can more easily transition from a land-based activity, like running, to the pool for some laps. Just pop the OH1 heart rate sensor in the clip and attach it to your goggles next to your temple. The OH1 is water-resistant up to 98.4'. If you want to go device-free, the OH1 features enough memory to store 200 hours of data you can later sync and analyze. - Long Battery Life
- The built-in 45mAh rechargeable battery has enough power on a full charge to give you up to 12 hours of continuous monitoring. To recharge, simply plug in the included USB adapter to an available USB power adapter (not included).
- Live Heart Rate
- The OH1 utilizes Bluetooth and ANT+ technology to stream your live heart rate to compatible fitness apps on your smartphone, or to compatible fitness trackers, smart watches, cycling computers, and gym equipment. You can even use both technologies to stream your heart rate to two devices simultaneously.
- Store Your Heart Rate
- If you like to work out light, you can still use the OH1 heart rate sensor without a smartphone or fitness device. The internal memory can store up to 200 hours of training data, which you can sync up afterwards to the Polar Beat fitness app.
- Accurate Readings
- Polar has engineered the OH1 to provide you with accurate heart rate data. It does this by utilizing their own proprietary heart rate algorithm and 6 different LED optical sensors to detect your heart rate.
- Comfortable Design
- The adjustable fabric armband is constructed from soft textile material that's been selected for comfort and durability. The armband is machine-washable for everyday use.
- OTA Updates
- With over-the-air updates via Polar Flow, you can conveniently keep your OH1 up to date with the latest features and enhancements.
