The PL2400's built-in 720p camera is capable of recording up to 15 minutes of video at distances of up to 164' away. The camera can also live stream footage back to a compatible smartphone or tablet that has the free Polaroid iOS or Android app installed. If you use your smartphone, you can mount it to the included remote controller for convenient access to the live feed as you pilot and monitor flight data. A 6-axis gyroscope flight stabilization system is designed to keep things steady while you film, and an Auto Return feature helps to ensure that the PL2400 will come back safe and sound. - Headless Mode
- This mode is designed to make flying the drone a little more straightforward, especially for those without a lot of flight experience. As the drone is flying, the front of it can turn in different directions, making it hard to orient it in the direction you want to fly it. With Headless Mode, the drone is automatically oriented to the controller. For example, regardless of where the front of the drone is pointing in the sky, if you push forward, the drone will fly away from you, pull back on the stick and it will fly towards you.
