Product description Aerial Photography and Drone Glossary Read More Have fun flying and capturing aerial footage with the PL2800 Quadcopter with 480p Camera from Polaroid. The PL2800's built-in 480p camera is capable of recording up to 7 minutes of video at distances of up to 114' away. The camera can also live stream footage back to a compatible smartphone or tablet that has the free Polaroid iOS or Android app installed. If you use your smartphone, you can mount it to the included remote controller for convenient access to the live feed as you pilot and monitor flight data. A 6-axis gyroscope flight stabilization system is designed to keep things steady while you film, and an Auto Return feature helps to ensure that the PL2800 will come back safe and sound. - Custom Flight Paths
- Within the free Android or iOS app is the ability to provide the PL2800 with a customized flight path. Take some of the stress out of piloting by telling the PL2800 exactly where you want it to go. With a pre-determined flight path, you can also save on precious battery life as the drone efficiently flies from point to point.
- Headless Mode
- This mode is designed to make flying the drone a little more straightforward, especially for those without a lot of flight experience. As the drone is flying, the front of it can turn in different directions, making it hard to orient it in the direction you want to fly it. With Headless Mode, the drone is automatically oriented to the controller. For example, regardless of where the front of the drone is pointing in the sky, if you push forward, the drone will fly away from you, pull back on the stick and it will fly towards you.
