Product description Enjoy versatile placement and setup options with the classic brown walnut Polk Audio Signature Series S35 Two-Way Speaker. It features a 1" Terylene dome tweeter and six 3" mid/woofer drivers and accepts 20 to 150W of power from your amplifier. As a center channel, when integrated with the rest of your home theater system, it will produce primarily on-screen dialogue rather than the sound effects coming from the rest of your speakers. Two S35 speakers can also be used as front left/right speakers. - Dynamic Balance Acoustic Array
- Dynamic Balance is designed to ensure a rich, clean, full-range sound, no matter what you're listening to. It analyzes the speaker's electro-acoustic and mechanical system for improved material selection and more efficient geometry, then pinpoints and eliminates issues that reduce speaker performance before they become a part of the finished product.
- High-Resolution Audio Performance
- The Terylene dome tweeter is designed to deliver clear and detailed high frequency response (up to 40 kHz) for a realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments.
- Polypropylene Mid-Range Drivers
- Mica-reinforced polypropylene cones with butyl rubber surrounds, ceramic motor structures, and high-temperature Conex fiber spiders combine to create drivers of enhanced efficiency, for clean, clear bass, augmented linearity, lower distortion, and higher durability.
- Wall-Mountable LCR Design
- You can use two (left/right) or three (left/center/right) S35 speakers to create a timbre-matched front acoustic array. The built-in four-way keyhole slots will allow you to mount the S35 either horizontally for use as a center or vertically for use as a left/right speaker.
- Dual Power Port Deep Bass Technology
- The two Power Ports are designed to smoothly transition the air flow into your listening area. They also extend the overall bass port, providing greater surface area to help eliminate turbulence and distortion, for bigger, more musical, deep bass impact.
- 4"-Tall Profile
- The S35 is designed to fit in spaces that other center channels do not.
- Enhanced Sensitivity and Compatibility
- Whether you're connecting them to a new digital processor or your vintage rig, the S35 is designed to provide sound reproduction that's spacious, clear, enveloping, and realistic. Plus, it's compatible with many Dolby and DTS surround sound technologies.
- Acoustically Inert Enclosure
- The cabinet is designed to be rigid and acoustically inert to help reduce unwanted internal standing waves to provide less audible coloration.
- Timbre-Matched
- The S35 is designed with the same components throughout to help achieve seamless speaker-to-speaker blending effects in multi-channel systems.
