Product description Ideal for use in home, project, and commercial studios, this Kit includes the Polsen VCP-2 passive stereo volume controller and two adjustable desktop monitor stands. Set your monitors on the height- and angle-adjustable stands, then optimize their placement for your mix position. With the VCP-2 connected between your audio interface/mixer and active speakers, you can easily control your listening level and mute/unmute the mix without leaving the sweet spot. - Polsen VCP-2 Passive Stereo Volume Controller for Powered Speakers Designed to sit between the output of your computer and the input of your powered speakers, the Polsen VCP-2 is a passive volume controller, one that offers a prominent dial for adjusting the level (or "volume") of audio. The design is passive, meaning no powered circuitry will color the sound. Operating at line level, the unit is suitable for use in a variety of scenarios, such as project studios, pro-audio studios, or even home environments.
On the input side, you'll find combination XLR-1/4" TRS jacks to interface with a variety of pro and consumer-grade equipment. Output connections are made possible thanks to two balanced 1/4" jacks; here is where you'll make the connection from the VCP-2 to your powered speakers.
