Product description The SDC-2150 from Polsen is a small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone for capturing high-quality audio. It features an accurate and fast response to transient levels and can be used in several applications for recording acoustic instruments such as close-miking pianos, kick drums, cymbals, snares, and more. In addition, it can be used as a drum-overhead mic.Featuring a tailored frequency response, with slightly accentuated mid-highs, this microphone captures sound naturally and can handle high sound-pressure level (SPL) with no distortion. The solid-metal construction provides durability and will withstand use in the most demanding environments.The SDC-2150 Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone is versatile and includes a mic clip with a 5/8" threaded socket and a 3/8" adapter, which makes it suitable for mounting on a mic stand or a boompole. - Cardioid Polar Pattern
