Product description The AR-788CLX from PortaBrace is a custom-fit Cordura carrying case for the Sound Devices 788 Recorder that can also be used with or without the CL-8 mixing control surface. The design has been updated both to provide a more rigid form that prevents sagging caused by carrying six or more wireless microphones, but also by keeping the weight closer to the sound operator's body, it helps to reduce fatigue during long days on set. The single-unit frame opens fully for easy loading of equipment.
A clear vinyl lid quickly zips on to provide protection against a rain shower. The two-flap design on the back panel allows for quick battery and SD card access. Durable nylon webbing along the front pocket and interior side panels is provided to clip additional transmitters. Nylon "boots" on either side allow access to ports and to the wireless microphone pouch. The openings can be opened wide for complete access or closed tight for greater protection from water and dust. - Compatible with Sound Devices 778T 8-channel portable HD recorder with or without the CL-8 mixing control surface
