Product description The Sound Devices 664 Audio Mixer Combination Case from Porta Brace is a protective Audio Mixer Combination Case custom-fit to the Sound Devices 664 mixer. It combines the 664 case with a CL6 controller bag, but either can be used separately. When used together, they form one ridged structural design. The style of the MXC provides a stronger frame, and offers improved support over previous models of this case. Removable padded dividers provide protection for your gear. The Cordura nylon bag has two large pockets on either side, perfect for an NP1 type battery, or left and right transmitter sends. Located within these pockets there are also additional transmitter attachment points. The bag has a movable hook/loop strap/shelf that can be positioned to utilize the space under the CL6. This hook/ loop provides a strong anchor point for an additional NP1 type battery that is often required with a fully equipped bag. Extra storage space has been created within the double-layered vinyl window. This allows the user to store some small items, or frequency chart information. The MXC-664CLX can also be used without the CL6 attached. The bag is designed to allow the user to compress the outer section of the bag and create a smaller and more compact case.
