Product description Anita Kram Explores the Magic of Nature with Lensbaby Lenses Read More The Pre-View Panoramic System for Nikon DSLR Cameras is a complete solution for creating high-resolution 360° panoramic images with just three exposures. The system utilizes a fisheye lens with 185° field of view that is attached to a three-stop rotator to easily guide you throughout the shooting process to record the individual images at the necessary angles in order to achieve a full panoramic image.
Once the images have been recorded, the included Ebot software provides an intuitive interface for stitching together the three recorded images into a single seamless panoramic image. Additionally, the Ebot software integrates a floor plan and mapping hotspot linking feature in order to navigate through a series of panoramas of a single location. - Panoramic System
- The system revolves around a three-part process, involving a fisheye lens, a three-stop rotator, and a proprietary software program. The lens provides a wide angle of view that is ideal for recording broad perspectives suited for any type of location. The three stop rotator is attached to the lens and allows you to easily place the lens within defined intervals for capturing three successive images to render a seamless 360° panoramic image. The Ebot software takes the recorded images and transforms them into a single image that encompasses a full view of a location from a single position.
- Fisheye Lens
- The 5.6mm f/5.6 lens has a 185° field of view, covering an extremely wide perspective to gain the most information possible of a scene from a single position. The lens has a fixed f/5.6 aperture and a fixed focus design that renders everything in focus from 1.6' to infinity. The lens is fitted with a Nikon F mount and is compatible with all Nikon DSLRs.
- Three-Stop Rotator
- This rotator is pre-attached to the fisheye lens and has three click stops to properly direct the lens in a series of intervals for recording all of the views needed for a fully-detailed high-resolution panoramic image. The rotator can be attached to any set of tripod legs using either a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screw.
- Ebot Software
- This software program is able to easily convert the three recorded images into a single seamless panoramic image to provide a full 360° perspective of a location. Additionally, the software can apply hotspots within the image that can be clicked on to bring the viewer to another image in order to create a virtual tour of a larger scene. By linking images in this manner, the viewer can gain a better understanding of a large location through a series of linked 360° views.
