Product description Progression 3 from PreSonus is a notation software optimized for musicians who compose with guitar, bass or drums, on a Mac or Windows computer. Featuring an intuitive interface, it lets you quickly enter parts and create guitar/bass tabs, drum tabs, lead sheets, and standard sheet music, which you can hear back instantly with realistic samples recorded in professional studios by world-class musicians. Progression's interactive keyboard, fretboard, and drum pad provide a fast and convenient way to capture pitches, drum parts, and guitar fingerings. The software lets you choose from a generous chord library or create your own chords. Alternatively, you can capture MIDI parts using a MIDI guitar or keyboard, in step time or in real time with a metronome. Add lyrics, build backing tracks, record vocals, and mix your compositions using the built-in mixer and effects. You can then share your lead sheet and transfer your audio via a multitude of compatibility options, including PDF files, Standard MIDI files, Wav files, and more. When on the go, the Progression for iPad app (available separately) lets you transfer your composition to and from an iPad, and continue your work anywhere you choose. - New in Progression 3
