Product description Twenty-first century technology comes to your campsite with the Helix Basecamp Rechargeable LED Lantern with Bluetooth from Princeton Tec. Featuring dimmable red and white light and a variety of hanging options, this lantern can be controlled from your smartphone via Bluetooth connectivity. Its free app gives you the ability to toggle between light colors, choose preset output levels, or dim the light to exactly the brightness you want, without having to physically touch it. You can, for example, shut off the light on the picnic table from the comfort of your sleeping bag.The lantern can also be operated from the lockable dial on its side. Plug into the micro-USB port on the underside of the light for a charge that will provide up to 22 hours of runtime. A three-LED charge indicator lets you know how much power you have left – and you can share it with other devices, via the USB output. If you don't have access to power to recharge your Basecamp, it can run on three AA batteries instead. The lantern collapses for transport and expands for use; its folding legs have notches to hang the light from a rope, and there's a hanging loop on the top. The diffuser globe can be removed to reveal a spot beam, and you can configure the legs to aim the beam where you need it.
