Product description Digitally store your vinyl records on your computer with the red & black Pro-Ject Elemental Phono USB Turntable. Its USB output allows you to connect it to your Windows or Mac computer for easy connection and conversion. The turntable supports 33 and 45 rpm speeds and features a minimalist design to keep it from occupying a large space. The Elemental Phono USB turntable includes a USB cable and an RCA cable. - With the chassis reduced in size, a molded piece of artificial stone holds the bearing and the platter. It is designed to be sufficiently heavy enough to deal with any vibration energy from the bearing and the motor.
- Two small extensions, made from light MDF, are mounted on the central mass point to hold the motor and the arm. All the vibration is fashioned to be directed to the mass point and effectively absorbed there.
- The platter is made of dense MDF and is designed to be balanced and non-resonant.
- The bearing is made from bronze bushing with a Teflon plate and a steel shaft designed for quiet operation.
- The tonearm is designed for use with the pre-installed Ortofon OM5 cartridge.
- The tonearm uses a fixed, pre-adjusted counterweight and anti-skating force to help ensure optimal sound and ease of setup.
