Product description The 8-Port 12 Gb/s PCIe 3.0 SAS/SATA RAID Controller for EB800MSV2 from Proavio is designed for high speed data transfers required for 4K video and VFX workflows. The 12 Gb/s SAS interface supports both 6 Gb/s and 12 Gb/s SAS, SATA, and SSD disk drives for bandwidth-intensive applications. This SAS/SATA RAID adapter has a cache memory of 2 GB, DDR3 1866 SDRAM and features dual SFF8644 HS-mini-SAS interface ports. It is a professional PCIe hardware RAID controller for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS workstations. - The adapter is designed for use with 12 Gb/s and 6 Gb/s SAS storage arrays
