Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More The DS316JS 96TB 16-Bay SAS-3 RAID Array from Proavio is a 96TB direct-attached storage solution that is designed to handle 2K and 4K media workflows. The DS316JS is outfitted with sixteen hot-swappable bays that can hold 2.5" and 3.5" drives with a SATA or SAS interface. Each of these bays has a 6TB hard drive that features a SATA interface and a rotational speed of 7200 rpm.
Proavio has outfitted the DS316JS with a PCIe 2.0 x8 hardware RAID controller, so you can configure these drives in a RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, or 10 array. Setting up the drives in a RAID 5 configuration can provide data transfer rates of up to 2,000 MB/s. Moreover, SAS-3 12 Gb/s interfaces are on board to deliver this data quickly to your workstation.
The DS316JS sports two redundant 500W PSUs that powers the drives and system. For cooling, it comes with a self-monitoring, thermal-controlled cooling system. Proavio lets you expand this solution's storage capacity with multiple DS316JS arrays, offering up to 384TB.
