Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More The DS320 64TB 16-Bay Fibre Channel RAID Array (16 x 4TB) from Provaio continuously delivers up to 64TB of media data via two active-active RAID controllers. This array is suitable for post-production environments such as a SAN or a direct-attached storage solution by utilizing its four high-speed 16 Gb/s SFP Fibre Channel optical ports on two controllers. With the included sixteen 4TB 7200 rpm SAS 3.5" hard drives, it transfers data at a rate of up to 3,500 MB/s when the drives are configured into a RAID 5 array. In addition to RAID 5, the RAID controller supports RAID 0, 0 + 1, 6, and JBOD.
Provaio has designed this array with sixteen bays that support 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives or SSDs. You can connect optional expansion units via its SAS Expansion bus port to access up to 80 total drives, including the base unit. It features a 3RU form factor and includes 16GB of RAM. There is also support for network configurations such as VMware, Xsan, and more.
This storage array comes equipped with redundant hot-swappable modules that offer power and cooling with dual 500W power supplies and smart cooling fans. This feature provides redundancy and reliability for critical and intensive data applications.
