Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More The EB800MS V2 16TB 8-Bay RAID Storage Solution with PCIe Controller Card from Proavio is equipped with eight 2TB hard drives for capturing, editing, and rendering full resolution videos without compromising on quality. Each 3.5" SATA drive spins at 7,200 rpm and is mounted on a floating module that reduces shock and vibration. This module provides longer disk life and reduces signal cross-talk between drives. The drives can be configured in various RAID modes for performance, redundancy, or both with the included PCIe 3.0 RAID controller card. This card occupies a PCI express x16 or x8 slot in your computer system. When the drives are configured in RAID 5, they offer reads up to 1300 MB/s and writes up to 1400 MB/s. This configuration allows the EB800MS to better handle 4K video formats such as DPX, RED R3D, UltraHD, and more.
This storage solution is powered with an energy efficient 80 PLUS power supply. It is cooled with two self-monitoring fans, which features ZERONOISE Advanced Sound Control, so you can use this storage solution in sound sensitive environments. Furthermore, this storage solution comes with two 12G SAS ports for connecting to Windows, Mac, or Linux systems. Included also with the EB800MS V2 are two hard drive keys, power cord, quick start CD, and two SFF8644 SAS cables. - Capacity
