Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More Capture, edit, and render DPX, RED R3D, UltraHD, uncompressed HD, Full HD, 2K, and 4K formats and workflows using the EB800MS V2 8TB 8-Bay SAS-3 RAID Array with PCIe 3.0 Controller Card from Proavio. The EB800MS V2 comes pre-configured with 8 x 1TB 3.5" 7200 rpm SAS hard drives, for a total capacity of 8TB. When configured as in RAID 5 mode, the EB800MS V2 is capable of sustained throughputs of up to 2,200 MB/s.
The EB800MS V2 is equipped with two 12 Gb/s Mini-SAS ports and includes a SAS-3 12 Gb/s RAID controller card so it may be connected to your system, with PCIe 3.0 x16 and x8, as well as PCIe 2.0 configurations being supported. While the included hard drives use a SAS connection, this array also supports 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s hard drives, as well as 2.5" SATA/SAS SSDs.
The Proavio EB800MS V2 operates using a single 250W power supply that runs at 90-264 VAC and 46-63 Hz. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems and also includes two HDD keys, eight hard disk modules, two external SFF8644 cables, and one standard IEC power cable.
