Product description proDAD's DEFISHR Fisheye Correction Software is a fully automatic fisheye correction solution for video. DEFISHR is ideal for footage from GoPro, Contour, CamOne, and other action cameras, which often produce warped images, and for digital cameras fitted with super-wide angle lenses. Limited functions are also available for correcting fisheye in photos. DEFISHR is a standalone program compatible with Windows 8, 7, and Vista.
The workflow consists of dragging your distorted clip into a media bin, reviewing a side-by-side comparison of the original and corrected clips, and approving the fix or further tuning the x-axis, y-axis, zoom, and lens tilt. The available playback/reading formats are: MOV, MPG, MPEG, MP4, MTS, M2T, M2TS, M2V, AVI, MXF, VOB, VCD, 3GP, JPG, and TIF.
A major feature in DEFISHR is a camera/lens calibration tool for creating a de-fishing profile for a camera not already in the program's presets. This tool allows DEFISHR to be used with footage from most any camera. The tool provides a calibration grid for the camera to be pointed at, and it analyzes this interaction and creates a new camera profile. -
