Product description The TR424 42mm-Series 58" Pro Stix Carbon Fiber Tripod with Top Plate from ProMediaGear is a 4-section support, which is suitable for small mirrorless to large format cameras that weigh up to 125 lb. The maximum height of the tripod is 58", and each 42mm leg has 3-variable independent angles that stabilizes against rocky or uneven terrain. Also, because of the variable leg angles, it allows the 5.9 lb tripod to have a minimum height of 6".The truss apex is CNC machined aluminum, and inside the apex sits a 75mm interchangeable top plate that is held in place by a spring-loaded lock and released by the safety button. Meanwhile, an optional 75mm leveling half ball is available and accepts fluid-, ball-, or gimbal-type heads via the 3/8"-16 male thread. A bowl insert is required to adapt the leveling half ball.Around the apex and at the top of each leg, near the apex, there are multiple 1/4"-20 mounting slots with anti-twist pins that allow you to adapt accessories to the side of the tripod. Additionally, the 10x crossed weaved carbon fiber legs collapse down to 21.25" by turning the twist locks a 1/4 of a turn. - The tripod has a load capacity of 125 lb with a maximum height of 58", and it weighs 5.9 lb
