With the Apollo Cloud 2 Duo 8TB 2-Bay NAS Server from Promise Technology, you can control your content. This dual-bay NAS server comes equipped with two 4TB SATA 3.5" hard drives for a total storage capacity of 8TB. The drive bays can be configured as RAID 0, which stripes both drives together and provides performance gains, or as RAID 1, which provides 1:1 data redundancy. If you configure the Apollo Cloud 2 Duo as a RAID 1, please be aware that you'll only have 4TB of usable space, since one of the drives is used for redundancy.
In addition to the dual storage bays, the Apollo features a single Gigabit Ethernet LAN port and a single USB 3.0 Type-A port, making it easy to connect this NAS server to the Internet, as well as connect additional USB-compatible storage drives directly to it. Once configured, it supports up to 40 clients so you can share your stored files with family and friends. Albums can be automatically organized by both facial recognition and location, sync photos from your camera roll with a single swipe, and even back up your content from both Mac- and Windows-based computers.
