Product description The Vess J2600sD 3U 16-Bay 6Gb SAS JBOD Storage Expansion Chassis from Promise Technology is a robust storage expansion platform that serves as a building block to provide high availability and flexibility in a cost-effective package. It is simple to administer and meets the demands of your application. The Vess J2600sD Expansion Chassis is equipped with hot-swappable redundant power supplies and fans. It also features dual active/active SAS JBOD I/O modules. Furthermore, the expansion chassis supports 6 Gbps and 3 Gbps SAS and SATA drives simultaneously. The Vess J2600sD Expansion Chassis is fully expandable to meet your current and future needs. Up to six additional expansion chassis can be added to each Vess R2000 RAID subsystem, providing expansion for up to 112 drives. - Redundant Hot-Swappable Power Supplies
- The Vess J2600sD Expansion Chassis is equipped with redundant power supplies. The advantage of N+1 power supplies is that should one fail, the other continues to power the subsystem until the faulty one can be replaced. Additionally, the power supplies are hot-swappable, enabling you to leave the subsystem running when you replace the one that failed.
- User-Friendly Design
- Simplicity and ease of use are absolutely crucial for small and medium businesses (SMBs). The Vess J2600sD Expansion Chassis meets these requirements with a user-friendly design that features the power button on the front panel.
