Product description The Vess R2600fiD 3U 16-Bay SAS/SATA RAID Subsystem from Promise Technology is a cutting-edge, active-active, high-availability IP SAN solution that consolidates both block and file storage onto a single platform, providing small and medium businesses (SMBs) a cost-effective way to meet performance goals while simplifying administration. It features two 8 Gbps Fibre Channel, four iSCSI 1 Gbps ports and a dual controller design. Furthermore, it supports 6 Gbps and 3 Gbps SAS and SATA drives simultaneously. The Vess R2600fiD RAID Subsystem also features three redundant hot-swappable PSUs and two hot-swappable redundant fans with battery backup units. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6, 10 (0+1), 30, 50 and 60.
