Product description The Vess R2600iD 16-Bay 8x 1GbE iSCSI to 6Gb SAS/SATA RAID Subsystem from Promise Technology is a cutting-edge, dual active-active, high-availability IP SAN solution that consolidates both block and file storage onto a single platform, providing small to medium businesses a cost-effective way to meet performance goals while simplifying administration. It features four iSCSI 1 Gbps host connect ports and a dual controller design. Furthermore, it supports 6 Gbps and 3 Gbps SAS and SATA drives simultaneously. The Vess R2600iD Subsystem also features three redundant hot-swappable PSUs and two hot-swappable redundant fans with battery backup units. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6, 10 (0+1), 30, 50 and 60.
