Product description The VTrak A-Class VTG1100US 128GB (4 x 32GB) NAS Gateway from Promise Technology is a share-out NAS with a form factor of 1U per node that is designed to be used with Promise Technology's VTrak A-Class Shared SAN solutions. The VTG1100US is equipped with 128GB (4 x 32GB) of SSD storage that act as boot-up drives for the A-Class Shared SAN series. The VTG1100US uses its SSDs to cache important information, files, and data from the A-Class Shared SAN series, thereby helping these systems to run more efficiently. The VTG1100US may be connected to A-Class Shared SAN products using either its Fibre Channel or Ethernet connections.
Aside from its SSD storage, the VTG1100US is also equipped with 32GB (4 x 8GB) of RAM, 2 x 8G Fibre Channel host connectivity, 4 x 1Gb Ethernet ports, and 2 x 10Gb Base-T Ethernet ports. It uses a NAS Gateway controller, can be expanded using cluster pair and scale-out, supports unlimited NAS clients, and runs using the NFS/SMB2 operating system. It also includes an embedded web management tool that uses WebPAM PROe (Ethernet), Command Line Interface (CLI) or Command Line Utility (Serial Port or Ethernet via Telnet, SSH), Third Party Management Support via SNMP, and CIM. Included with this NAS are regional power cords and a toolless rack rail kit.
