Product description The VTrak E610sS RAID Storage System from Promise Technology is a 12-bay RAID storage system with a 2U rackmount. It supports both SAS and SATA hard disk drives with speeds of 3Gb/s. It can also run any variations of supported SAS and SATA hard disk drives simultaneously. It also has dual hot-swappable power supplies, which means you can replace the power supplies without shutting down the entire system. This RAID storage system has a single failback/failover RAID controller, which has a total of 4 SAS-wide (4x) ports with JBOD expansion. This means that up to four Promise VTrak J-Class JBOD systems can be connected. It also supports various RAID levels simultaneously. Note: Another RAID controller can be added - High Availability
- This storage system 4 SAS (x4) host interface ports to provide a reliable, high-performance alternative to Ultra SCSI 320 storage applications. As a standard 3U 19" rack unit, this storage system can support up to 16 off-the-shelf 3.5" SAS or SATA 3Gb/s hard disk drives. Four SAS JBOD systems can also be connected to this storage system to deliver 80 drive bays of direct attached storage
