Product description The VTrak J610sS Storage System from Promise Technology is a 16-bay storage system with a 3U rackmount. It supports 3.5" SAS and SATA hard disk drives with a speed of 3Gb/s. It can also run any variations of SAS and SATA hard disk drives or solid state drives simultaneously. It also has dual hot-swappable power supplies. This storage system has a single active/active SAS JBOD I/O module, which has a total of two mini SAS (4x) wide-port-SAS ports. - Affordable & Reliable Storage
- This storage system is a high performance SAS solution with advanced enterprise-level reliability and functionality. The two provide the connectivity and bandwidth for large capacity solutions requiring multiple cascaded JBODs. Fully redundant I/O modules, power supplies and cooling units are combined with a cable-less system design to secure data availability, even during component failures. a single active/active SAS JBOD I/O module redundant data paths to ensure data availability
- No Single Point of Failure
- This storage system has dramatically narrowed the gap between simple fault tolerance and "No Single Point of Failure." All system components are redundant and are constantly monitored using industry standard protocols to ensure continuous operation. - SES-2 Compliant Enclosure Management
- The storage system features SES-2 compliant enclosure management. This management system monitors the status of power supplies, cooling devices, indicators, individual hard disk drives and other non-SCSI elements that are installed in the enclosure. It will also alert you about overheating as well as hard disk drive and fan failure
