Product description The Promise Technologies VTrak S3000 Enterprise Class iSCSI SAN Appliance is designed to provide an affordable and manageable enterprise SAN solution to protect your entire organization's data. It features two 8 Gbps Fibre Channel interfaces (host interconnect), two 1 Gbps iSCSI (secondary host interconnect), and two 8 Gbps Fibre Channel connectors.Snapshot feature creates images of specified data files and helps you recover deleted or inconsistent data. Synchronous mirroring copies real time production data to different disks during system failures. Asynchronous remote replication allows for fast data synchronization of storage volumes from one S3000 appliance to another over the IP network. Efficient network utilization can be achieved with DeltaScan technology that limits the amount of data transferred during replication.HyperCache technology speeds up I/O performance for both read/write operations via intelligent disk caching algorithms using high performance media. You can also allocate storage space more efficiently with the iSCSI thin-provisioning.The S3000 SAN appliance is compatible with Promise VTrak X10 and X30 series RAID storage subsystems. It has been approved for use with VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer virtualization systems.
