Bringing your film camera into the digital age, the Meta35 from Promote Systems allows you to transfer the shooting data from your compatible Nikon film SLR to your computer, and then embed this data into your scanned files. Beyond adding the shooting information recorded by your camera, the included Meta35 software also allows you to apply IPTC information to your imagery during the batch process. In addition to working with shooting data, this module can also be used to customize certain camera settings according to your camera, such as adjust exposure, focus, operation, and timer settings. - Camera Compatibility

- Using the included USB adapter and N10 cable, you begin by connecting your camera to the computer and opening the Meta35 software. The software locates the shooting logs from the most recent rolls and allows you to download the exposure and camera settings recorded.
- Sync Data with Images
- Once the shooting data has been imported, you then match the data, according to roll number, with the specific scanned images. You can choose to omit specific images or shooting information lines in order to accurately sync the data with the specific frames. At this step, you can also apply IPTC data, such as copyright, content, and location tags, and embed the metadata set to the files in a batch.
- Customize Camera Settings
- Beyond transferring and embedding metadata to files, the adapter and cable can also be used to configure and adjust camera settings depending on your camera model. Using the camera setup menu, you can view your camera's current custom settings, such as autofocus, exposure, control, operation, timers, film data, and more, and adjust them within the software interface.
