Product description Polar Dual Pitch Shifter from Propellerhead is a rack extension for Reason offering old school harmonizing and pitch-shifting effects. The unit is capable of classic harmonizing, stereo-widening, real-time pitch shifting, or buffer looping with audio freeze for other worldly effects.
Polar offers two independent pitch shifters that can be controlled with a myriad of on-board controls and modulation sources including an LFO and envelope. The effect also offers MIDI note control, which allows the unit to track to a keyboard. Other features include a delay buffer for repeating pitch-shift effects, auto panning, and a looping algorithm capable of playing forward or in reverse. As with all Reason instruments and effects, Polar offers comprehensive patching on the rear of the unit allowing for even greater routing flexibility. Note: Note: Rack Extensions are only available for single-user licenses. This means that if you are a school/institution and have a multi-license for Reason, you will not be able to try, purchase or install Rack Extensions -

- Real-time control, expansive modulation capabilities
- Resonant filter with built-in envelope and LFO

- Loop algorithm offers a defined loop length (or "grain length")
- Loop can be reversed for running of loops in different directions
