Product description Pulsar LGM-1 from Propellerhead is a rack extension for Reason that is designed to be a modulation powerhouse with two independent LFOs capable of generating lush evolving pads to the grittiest of wobble basses. Each LFO rate can be modulated and controlled from a MIDI keyboard, allowing for Pulsar to be used as a two-oscillator monosynth. As with all Reason instruments and effects, Pulsar offers comprehensive patching on the rear of the unit allowing for even greater flexibility. Note: Note: Rack Extensions are only available for single-user licenses. This means that if you are a school/institution and have a multi-license for Reason, you will not be able to try, purchase or install Rack Extensions -
- Turn up the Shuffle parameter to introduce some irregularity to your modulation.
- Smooth out sharp waveforms using Lag
- Go all out and let LFO2 trigger the built-in envelope. With the LFO 2 Trig button on, the Envelope is automatically synced by the LFO 2 signal. This means that every time LFO 2 begins a new cycle, the envelope is triggered
- When the rate is turned up, Pulsar transforms from low-frequency oscillator to high-powered synth with plenty of character. The LFO waveforms in combination with lag and shuffle bring tons of tones—edgy and noisy
