Product description The VeCASTER HEVC Full HD IP Encoder from Pro Video Instruments is equipped with the MPEG5 HEVC H.265 compression technology that allows multi-rate SD and full HD web streaming for a fraction of the bandwidth. It can create four simultaneous unicast streaming from the same HDMI input, with the ability to perform scaling. This unit also includes two Logo Generators and two Text Characters Generators for station branding and titling. The built-in RTMP server allows direct-to-internet unicast on-demand transmission, up to 800 MB/s total bandwidth shared over unlimited users (concurrent video players).
The VeCASTER encoder supports RTMP, RTSP, HTTP, and UDP streaming formats. The stream can be used to drive Internet servers in order to repeat the stream and aggregate bigger bandwidths for unlimited concurrent video players. The Average Delay from input to the player is less than 2 seconds (1 second typical). The VeCASTER streaming can be received on any IP video player such as VLC VideoLan as well any video player app on mobile devices, tablets, PCs, MAC, and IP set top box by adding the IP address of your streams. - HDMI video distribution over Internet
