Product description The 25' PSC Breakaway Cable for SD788T 8-Channel Portable HD Recorder is used to connect the Sound Devices SD788T to a video camera. The recorder end of the cable features two TA3F XLR connectors for connecting to two outputs on the SD788T. A 24" TA3F mini XLR cable fans out from the cable snake to provides a return channel to the recorder.
The video camera side of the cable features left and right XLR-3M cables the plug into the inputs connectors of the video camera. A 3.5mm stereo mini right-angle connector provides a tape return signal from the camera to the recorder. A 3.5mm stereo mini female connector allows for the camera operator to connect a pair of headphones for monitoring. The cable uses Neutron 8-pin quick release connectors to allow the operator to quickly disconnect the umbilical cable from the camera. The quick release is positioned 1' from the fan out.
