Product description The X-large Elite Boom Pole from PSC utilizes a blend of high modulus carbon fibers that are precision wound by carbon fiber specialists in the USA. This tube provides a balance of strength, stiffness, torsion rigidity, and low handling noise. After winding, each tube is impregnated with high quality resins and baked under tight, computer controlled temperature and humidity conditions. The tube is then painstakingly ground to high aerospace tolerances.
This Elite Boom Pole utilizes a system of fixed threaded mounts, locking collars, and locking rings in order to offer good locking characteristics with a simple half turn of the wrist.
This boom pole is equipped with a removable top screw to allow for quick and easy mounting of your various microphones. This removable top screw is machined from aluminum and anodized for lasting good looks. The top screw also incorporates a cable slot for easy and quick screw changes or cable installations. It is machined to reduce weight in non-critical areas. Additional top screws are available (sold separately) for mounting to all of your microphone shock mounts. The heel end of this Elite Boom Pole Tube features a fixed, lightweight aluminum threaded mount that is compatible with the various end caps (sold separately).
