Product description The PowerStar Mini Triple Play from PSC is a power distribution system that provides a convenient way to distribute clean, quiet, reliable 12 VDC power from one or more rechargeable batteries. It can be used to power all your ENG (Electronic New Gathering) gear in a bag or small cart for applications using wireless mics, mixers, recorders, USB devices, and more. The Mini Triple Play features nine main outputs. Each output can deliver up to 2 amps of continuous current and the total current limit is 10 amps. A top-panel mounted 3-way power switch controls the entire operation. When switched to the left, only USB power connectors will be powered on to allow continued charging of your USB devices. When switched to the center position, everything is turned off. When switched to the right side, everything is powered on. In addition, one connector is always on and has a blue ring to identify it. The PowerStar Mini Triple Play is built with Silent Power technology, which is designed to filter out unwanted switch-mode noise and RF interference from your power lines. These filters ensure you of clean, quiet recordings in the field to provide you with better than 34 dB of RF isolation from 100 to 900 MHz. Furthermore, each of the power outputs are individually Polyfuse protected so that if one output is shorted, the remaining outputs will function normally. Finally, the power inputs are via three 4-pin mini XLR connectors on the Mini Triple Play. Several options such as NP-1 battery cups, AC power supplies and an assortment of PSC power cables are available separately. The PowerStar Mini Triple Play also has reverse polarity protection, Switchcraft connectors, a rugged aircraft aluminum case, a tough powder-coat finish, and a removable stainless-steel belt clip with three mounting positions for flexibility in the field.
