Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More The 8x40 Expert VM Marine Binocular from Pulsar is a general purpose optic featuring selectable filters that can enhance image quality in various conditions. The filters are engaged using a lever switch on the underside of the binocular housing. In Reflection mode, the built-in polarizer will reduce glare by filtering light bouncing off water, glass, and other highly-reflective surfaces. Contrast mode uses a yellow filter to enhance contrast while viewing in foggy or hazy conditions. In addition to the multiple viewing modes, this binocular is equipped with a fully multicoated optical path and a nitrogen-filled housing. Combined with its angled rubber eyecups and flip-up objective covers, the Expert VM Marine offers user-friendly handling and versatile performance. - Optical Performance
