Product description The Studio Display XT2 from PunchLight allows you to see incoming timecode from your monitor. The XT2 displays timecode, time, or samples & bars. It is designed for use in recording and post production studios. The XT2 has a multi-color function for all segments. During playback, the timecode is green, for "ready" it is yellow, and during recording all segments it is red. You can also choose a base color of red-only for all modes. The Studio Display XT2 comes included with the PunchLight DLi Display & Light interface. This small box has one output for the Display XT2 and two outputs for connecting external lights such as the Recording Display, Lamp, and Ring (sold separately). The PunchLight DLi connects to computer via a standard USB 6.6' cable. The Studio Display XT2 is hooked up to the PunchLight DLi via a 32.8' six-wire cable, terminated at both ends by RJ11 phone connectors. The XT2 has added seconds to the clock. Additionally, time is continuously backed up via the internal battery, so the clock remains set when the unit is turned off or disconnected from the power supply. The remote control can turn off the last two segments, switch between dots or colons, filter MTC, switch the display between "Pro Tools" or other audio applications ("Generic"), and set overall brightness. You can send custom messages from your computer to the display via the remote. - Two additional external lights can be connected to the PunchLight DLi
