Product description Designed by Pyle Pro, this Banjo Mandolin Hybrid—or "Banjolin" for short— features a Banjo-style drum-body with a mandolin-style 8-string violin tuning. It can be used by musicians and students alike to add a quirky timbre to their arsenal of string sounds, or in studio recordings, live stage work, theater, and more.
Featuring a coated, polished rich wood finish, this instrument boasts a rosewood fingerboard 9.3" long adorned with classically traditional binding, as well as an underlying universal truss rod and a set of eight white jade tuner key pegs atop the headstock. Its body includes a Remo M1 banjo-head that's 2.9" high and 8.5" wide, as well as a movable bridge stand.
